Friends, we welcome you to visit Topsy Farms' shearing weekend. There will be the usual excitement in the barn, and in-store specials at the Wool Shed. The last booking on Saturday is 4:30, and on Sunday at 3:00.

Please enter the number of people in your group in the "quantity" field. Max 10.

You can watch previous year's videos on our YouTube channel. Topsy staffer Lynn did an excellent blog post about the shearing operation, and interviewed shearers Don Metheral and Jacob Heffernan.

Friendly, and interesting first visit!

Thank you for the friendly tour and info from our young tour guide. We enjoyed seeing and learning about the sheep shearing. A lovely first visit to the farm and Wool Shed!

10/10

This was the best way to spend Easter with my kids. Short Ferry ride to the island, sheep shearing was so cool - fun to watch, not too short, not too long, friendly and informative. I knew we would have fun but didn't know it would be as much fun as it was. We stayed after to play on the playground (my kids loved it), and to have lunch from the food truck. Highly recommend this for kids or grownups.

SO MUCH FUN!

We had such a good time at the sheering event at Topsy on Easter Sunday. Have a sunny day didn't hurt at all, but what made it so enjoyable was the friendliness of all the people working at the farm. We were able to ask any questions, and even the ones that might have an obvious answer, was responded to with kindness and a sense of humour. We also bought a blanket and had a nice lunch from the food truck. Truly a wonderful trip to Amherst Island!

Friendly, Educational Visit for Grandchildren

I recently took my grandchildren to visit Topsy during their sheep shearing. As we have experienced in the past and again this time, visits were well organized, everyone was super friendly, barns were set-up to maximize the vistors experience (i.e. plexiglass viewing panels) and it was great exposure to a farming operation for "city kids". Thank you Topsy, we will be back again in May for the foster lamb visits!
