Care and Feeding of Your Topsy Wool Products

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS FOR WOOL

If machine washing wool or sheepskin products, fill your washing machine with cold water, add Eucalan, a biodegradable cleaner and conditioner that is a natural affordable alternative to dry-cleaning. Either stop action or set to delicate cycle. Add product and soak for at least 1/2 hour. If your machine allows, skip the rinse cycle (the Eucalan is also a conditioner). Spin to remove excess water. Air dry on line or sweater rack. Use a sweater rack for a sheep skin, and tug the edges gently once or twice while drying.

If hand washing wool products, use lukewarm or cold water. Add the recommended amount of Eucalan then soak. Squeeze gently avoiding rough handling or scrubbing. Leave Eucalan in the final rinse water to soften your product further. Squeeze out excess water and hang to dry.
