Help Make the Next Bale

Every winter our flock depends on approximately 800 round bales of hay.

Some years the weather gives generously. Some years it asks us to be creative, or patient, or resourceful.

Many of you have followed the Topsy Bale Count as each new bale rolled out onto the field. This year we're opening the gate a little wider.

If you'd like to help with this year's haying season, you're invited to Help Make the Next Bale.

Your contribution helps cover the real costs of producing winter feed for the flock - tire repairs; oil and coolant for the tractors; replacement mower blades; refilling fire extinguishers when things go really awry; and endless part replacements.

Like most things at Topsy, it's a simple principle - neighbours helping neighbours.
