Pattern can be knit as a poncho or a ferry/stroller blanket. What's a ferry blanket? Well, we live on an island and often find ourselves on the ferry. Cars are to be turned off during the crossing, so during the cold months, it's wise to have a small blanket to cover your legs, which may not have the outer layers that your upper body does.
If you wish to have another colour of aran yarn substituted please leave a note with your preferences and we will substitute your preference if we are able to.
Your item will be shipped via Canada Post within 2 business days of your order. We will contact you if an unforeseen delay occurs. There is no difference in price between expedited and regular shipping, and expedited shipping insures and tracks your package. You cannot de-select expedited shipping. You will receive an email with the tracking information.
Please contact us by phone or email within 7 days of delivery, and send items back within 14 days. Custom items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, cannot be exchanged. Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If an item is not returned in its original condition, buyer is responsible for loss in value.

What a lovely kit. The yarn is wonderful and the added bits that make up the kit make it extra special. The stories of Topsy Farm make it that much sweeter. Can’t wait to knit up a poncho. I highly recommend this kit.
I ordered this lovely kit, and it came quickly. The yarn is even prettier in person, and although I need to finish another project before I start this one, I've had it out of the box to pet it several times. The pattern is clearly written and printed on good card stock so it will stand up to being hauled around in the unbleached cotton project bag that came with it. I'm excited to try the bamboo needles, too!
I've just completed kniting this pattern and I loved working with this yarn. This is my first time knitting with your wool, and I have fallen in love with it! As I was knitting the poncho pattern, I could easily imagine using this yarn to knit a sweater with it. Keep an eye out for my yarn order soon! :)
