This class will introduce you to the techniques required to make the Nightshift Shawl by Andrea Mowry. Mosaic knitting highlights different colours of yarn within one project, without the complexity of fair isle or stranded colourwork knitting. You will leave with the skills to complete the project.
Kait recommends Topsy worsted weight in at least two colours. You will need six skeins in total, of different colours, to finish the shawl.
Please bring - at least two skeins of worsted in different colours - 4.5mm or 5mm straight or circular needles (any cord length). To complete the project, circular needles of 32" or 40" are recommended - two stitch markers and ensure they fit over your needles - yarn needle/darning needle to weave in ends.
There will be time at the beginning of the workshop to browse the Wool Shed, and purchase and wind yarn.
