Catch the 8:30am ferry at Millhaven (please arrive early, the boat can be busy). The cost is $9 CASH round trip/car. Meet at Topsy Farms, 14775 Front Rd.
In this workshop we will reflect on what kinds of plants we want to grow, and what has already started. We may be able to harvest early onions or other greens. We will look at which wild plants will be designated "weeds" and removed. We will also see which wild plants can be of benefit, and share our garden space.
Participants will learn by doing, planting seeds and seedlings using tried and true techniques.
This workshop will run rain or shine.
Please bring - reusable water bottle, appropriate outdoor clothing, gardening gloves, a shovel (if you have one), a notebook and writing utensil
