Topsy Farms yarn is wonderful to work with. It is soft with natural lanolin, sturdy with unbroken fibres. Each skein weighs 4 oz – 1/4 lbs or 113 grams.  Since most knitting stores sell yarn in 50 gram balls, be aware that you only need half the number of skeins called for in a pattern. 

Topsy Farms yarn is ideal for sweaters, mitts, toques or socks, or for creative wall hangings and other pure wool projects. It also felts beautifully.
