Catch the 8:30am ferry at Millhaven (please arrive early, the boat can be busy). The cost is $9 CASH round trip/car. Meet at Topsy Farms, 14775 Front Rd.
In this workshop we will gather to observe the garden we'll be working for the season. Before we plant, we will set goals, acknowledge potential challenges, and look at a Garden Plan. We will explore ways that we, stewards of the land, can have a positive impact on the soil through composting, maintenance, and coexisting with other creatures who already call the land home.
We will end our time together by reflecting on what we've done, and share some light refreshments.
This workshop will run rain or shine.
Please bring - reusable water bottle, appropriate outdoor clothing, gardening gloves, a shovel (if you have one), a notebook and writing utensil
