Catch the 8:30am ferry at Millhaven (please arrive early, the boat can be busy). The cost is $9 CASH round trip/car. Meet at Topsy Farms, 14775 Front Rd.
In our final workshop, we will celebrate the harvest and look at ways we can preserve food to nourish us through the winter. We'll discuss canning, drying, freezing, curing, fermenting, and which crops can be stored.
We will reflect on our season's successes and challenges, and talk about potential new projects for the coming year.
Amanda will have some preserved gifts to thank participants for learning together.
This workshop will run rain or shine.
Please bring - reusable water bottle, appropriate outdoor clothing, gardening gloves, a shovel (if you have one), a notebook and writing utensil
