Catch the 8:30am ferry at Millhaven (please arrive early, the boat can be busy). The cost is $9 CASH round trip/car. Meet at Topsy Farms, 14775 Front Rd.
In this workshop we'll see how the garden has changed and grown since spring. The garden has been fallow for several years, and we'll observe the bounty that's sprung forth thanks to our care and attention. We'll reflect on how that translates to ourselves, and how creating a hospitable environment for productive growth can positively impact our lives.
We'll talk about herbs and where to find them, and walk through the property finding plants that can heal, both spiritually and medicinally. We'll reflect on how the garden creates no garbage, that nothing natural is wasted. Everything has a purpose; learning how the pieces fit together can create a beautiful space to share.
There will be food, flowers, and herbal teas to harvest and enjoy.
This workshop will run rain or shine.
Please bring - reusable water bottle, appropriate outdoor clothing, gardening gloves, a shovel (if you have one), a notebook and writing utensil
