Washed and carded pure wool is ideal for bedding. It is resilient (retains its “bounce”). It traps billions of air pockets which insulate, maintaining body warmth, while wicking away moisture. That same air enables the bedding to “breathe” (unlike man-made fibres) which promotes natural body circulation and cool comfort. It is ideal for those with sensitivities or allergies, as it naturally resists moulds, mildew and dust mites. Wool is naturally fire resistant.
Topsy Farms Comforters are a generous dimension and weight. We recommend you add a cover for easier maintenance. Our Comforters can be machine washed – if it can fit in the machine. King and Queen comforters will require oversized washing machines. We strongly recommend using Eucalan Wool Wash, as it replaces the natural lanolin in the wool.
