Ferry Schedule
The Amherst Island Ferry leaves Millhaven (the mainland) every hour on the half hour from 6:30a.m. to 1:30a.m. and leaves Stella (the island) every hour on the hour from 6:00a.m. to 1:00a.m.
Directions from the Ferry
When you drive off the ferry, go to the first intersection (4 way stop). Turn Right. You will pass 92.1 CJAI (Amherst Island Public Radio) on your right hand side. You will pass the Amherst Island Public School on your left. Continue on this. You will eventually reach a small bridge, the road will turn to gravel, and you will have the option to go left, or continue on straight (along the water). Go straight. Disregard the No Exit sign. (Remember to drive slowly on the gravel road, as there is a lot of wildlife on the island, and there are often large farm vehicles driving back and forth). The Wool Shed is on the left hand side of the road (Civic Address 14775).
